"My ideal job"

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk you about my ideal job. I don’t know very well what area of Psychology I will choose but I would like to work with children and teenagers. Because I think that they are at an important stage in which they can learn different skills to be happy and change the course of their lives. Therefore, I would like to work with people in social risk because they need support and most of the time their families are disintegrated and they have lived traumatic experiences.

So I would like to work in communities or in places that receive people who have had troubles with the law as Sename because if I work in those places I could help and support to children and teenagers to have a better life in the future. Moreover, these places need to change the interventions that are using because aren’t efficient for children for leaving the crime and drug. Also I would like to realize research to understand the structural factors that are influencing the actions of these people.

The qualities and skills that I would need to do this job are: motivation, empathy, patience and imagination to be able to innovate in every difficult situation.

But when I am working in this job I could find different obstacles as low salaries and I could have frustration at don’t achieved the objectives that I imagined because I am working in an adversarial context.

"school kills creativity"

Hi! Today, I’m going to write about an interesting video that I saw. This video shows a conference of Ken Robinson in this conference he talks about the creativity, schools and society. He says that the human creativity is extraordinary and has an unpredictable evolution. Moreover he tells us that all children are born with great creativity, but when they start to grow little by little they lose their creativity.

Why? This happens because the school kills creativity, the school doesn’t teach creativity. It is reflected at moment that we see that children hasn’t afraid to make mistakes but they are stigmatized by school when they make mistakes. I think that it is very surprising because if you don’t make mistakes you will never be creative.

Furthermore the school believes that the there are subjects more important than other, so mathematics and language are more important than music, art and painting. Then the school educates the hemisphere that is related to the rational, forming in the things that are useful for the production. I think that isn’t correct because the school should educate to children in all aspects and not only for the needs of capitalism, should deliver a integral education.

For it, is necessary to rethink our views about the intelligence, because Ben Robinson say that intelligence has the characteristics of dynamic, diverse and distinct.

I liked this video because it invites us to rethink the principles of education that are being given to children and the importance of creativity.

Hello everyone, today I’m going to write about my favorite subject. My favorite subject is Legal Psychology and the teacher of this subject is called Carolina Villagra.

I like this subject because I think that as a psychologist I can help improving conditions of people that are in prison. Moreover I can investigate different factors that is influent people who are in prison because I think that there are structural factors and I want to help to transform the society.

I have learnt this semester in this subject that is very important to respect the rights of incarcerated persons and society doesn’t respected their rights, they live in appalling conditions and this aspect should change in society because every day people die in prison without have had the options to change their life

Also I have learnt that alternative measures in prison are better than prison, because they allow people to develop and learn other things

About my future

Today I’ m going to write about my dreams and wishes that I would like to concrete in the future.

Well, talk you about my future is very difficult because I’ m in third year of my career and I don’t know very well what area of Psychology I will choose but I see me in five years as a good professional, I would like to work as legal psychologist or as psychotherapist I think. And Also I would like to live alone in a place near a park, But I don`t know exactly in what city yet.

Also I would like to study in other country so I expect that I'm going to study in Spain and furthermore will visit different places of Europe. Moreover I would like to visit other places of America as Brasil, Ecuador and Venezuela.

But in my future I hope to be very happy and shape with my family and friends, because that is very important for me.
